  2002 Vintage

The 2002 vintage Shiraz was picked on 6 April 2002, and the long and slow growing and ripening period of that year has resulted in great intensity of flavour.
Nose:  Intense, lifted aromas of plum and blackberry are complemented by spearmint and white pepper.

Palate: The long slow ripening period of the 2002 vintage has resulted in superb intensity of flavours of plums, blueberry and aniseed.  Supple tannins in the mid-palate complement fruit weight and elegant use of oak.   The long palate features an incredibly complex mixture of savoury, spice and delicious fruit sweetness, with lingering white pepper.
